The remit of your daily work @Trask

• Modern cloud infrastructure support and automation on interesting and attractive projects within a large and professional team, utilizing the latest tools and methodology (Infrastructure as a code)
• Analysis of infrastructure developer needs, getting their code to run in the cloud
• Supporting cloud infrastructure for a variety of applications (.NET, Java, Node.js, Python)
• Monitoring cloud native applications and propose improvements to the cloud infrastructure
• Cooperation under the supervision of an experienced senior DevOps engineer, your mentor

To get you on board, you already possess

• Ability to understand technical documentation in English, ability to contribute to English written documentation and follow online training in English language
• Basic understanding of common IT infrastructure concepts (private/public subnets, gateway)
• Basic experience with server administration (Linux or Windows)
• Basic knowledge of a common scripting language (i.e.Bash)
• Ability to work with configuration files (YAML, JSON) and GIT
• Never-ending appetite to learn cloud technologies and to improve your analytical and scripting skills
• Attention to detail, reliability, and responsibility

Note that you no pre-existing knowledge of cloud specific technologies or AWS or even Kubernetes(!) is required.

How to impress us to get ahead of the other applicants

• You’re able to demonstrate how to troubleshoot an infrastructure performance and operational issues
• Basic knowledge of application development cycle
• You have already used automation in your local environment and, perhaps, even wrapped it into a local running Docker container
• Very basic knowledge of a programming language of your choice
